26th Entrepreneur of the Year Prize: National competition

The national Entrepreneur of the Year 2018 ceremony was held on 18 October in the Salle Pleyel hall in Paris. Discover all the winners of this year’s competition.  

 

Entrepreneur of the Year Prize
This prize rewards directors for their outstanding performance and that of their company. The Entrepreneur of the Year Prize was awarded to Yves Guillemot, CEO of Ubisoft.

Family Business Prize
This prize is awarded to a family business that has defined a durable strategy supported by values and transparent governance and where the second or later generation is now in control. The Family Business Prize was awarded to Xavier Omerin, CEO of Omerin Cables.

Prize for Start-Up Company of the Year
This prize is awarded to a young company “with great potential” that has shown proof of inventiveness in its market and that will become one of the entrepreneurial leaders of the future. The Prize for Start-Up Company of the Year was awarded to Franck Zal, CEO of Hemarina.

The “Born Global” Prize
This prize is awarded to the director of the Start-Up whose business model has the greatest international potential. The “Born Global” Prize was awarded to Eric Larchevêque, CEO of Ledger.

Prize for Social Commitment
This prize is awarded to the committed entrepreneur who goes beyond the mere economic goals of his or her profession to find innovatory solutions to social problems. The Prize for Social Commitment was awarded to Jean Moreau and Baptiste Corval, CEO and joint founders of Phenix.
