Christophe Haudeguand, a former chairman of CITYA Assurances, has joined Verlingue Immobilier as Development Manager. Verlingue Immobilier is an insurance broker specialising in solutions for real estate professionals. This comes at a time of strong growth for the company on the French market and reinforces the broker’s inorganic growth ambitions.
Verlingue Immobilier was born out of the Verlingue merger in 2014 with De Clarens and has risen to become one of the leaders in France for the insurances of real estate professionals offering tailor-made services for public and professional liability, buildings packages, contract works, condominium legal defence, rent guarantee, non-occupying landlord and resale value guarantee insurances.
Christophe will be working under Stéphane Grandchamp, general manager of the fast-growing Verlingue Immobilier, bringing his insurance and real estate experience to bear on the numerous challenges facing the property business and the new requirements of industry players.
He will also cooperate with the existing team in improving the customer experience through digitalisation, an essential pillar of the Verlingue strategic plan, and will take part in implementing inorganic growth plans for France.
Christophe has had wide experience of the European real estate market through his responsibility for setting up Luxembourg and Belgian subsidiaries for the insurance company, CFDP Assurances (2004-2010). Since 2011, Christophe has been managing the insurance broking arm of CITYA, the second largest property management group in France.
