Stéphane Grandchamp: “We have worked with our clients to ensure that Immo@ccess totally meets their expectations”

During the MIPIM PropTech show, which was held in Paris on 20 and 21 June, Stéphane Grandchamp, Manager of Verlingue Immobilier, answered questions from Radio Immo.

Eric Cala, Journalist – Radio Immo
“We’re interviewing Stéphane Grandchamp who’s representing the company Verlingue (…). So could we describe Verlingue as first and foremost an insurance broker, with a division devoted to real estate?”

Stéphane Grandchamp, Manager – Verlingue Immobilier
“Exactly. Verlingue is a broker specialising in corporate risks which developed a speciality in real estate 4 to 5 years ago, particularly following an acquisition with which experts in this sector are very familiar, that of the firm Clarens”.

Eric Cala, Journalist – Radio Immo
“A good opportunity for regional but also international expansion. Your work for companies is focused on 4 objectives: simplicity, clarity, fluidity and proximity. Is that right?

Stéphane Grandchamp, Manager – Verlingue Immobilier
“Exactly. These are our 4 watchwords, which underpin our different projects, including among others digitalisation, which is why we’re here today at the PROPTECH show. Verlingue Immobilier has developed a digital platform, Immo@ccess, which is designed to ensure simplification in management, and fluidity in real estate contracts”

Eric Cala, Journalist – Radio Immo
“What does it include”

Stéphane Grandchamp, Manager – Verlingue Immobilier
“Put simply, Immo@ccess enables our customers to declare their claims online, to track them and consult them…
In the real estate sector, we are in a B to B to C scenario. Our customers are real estate professionals who have customers of their own. They often find it difficult to submit factual items concerning the management of their policies and items concerning claims. Our objective is to help them carry out fluid, seamless information transfers directly with their customers and enhance their standing as management specialists, through insurance”.

(…)

“We’ve received a warm welcome from our customers today. This success is also due to the fact that we have carried out work with our customers during workshops to be certain that Immo@ccess is totally in keeping with their requirements”.

Eric Cala, Journalist – Radio Immo
“Could you give us a few figures to describe Verlingue Immobilier?”

Stéphane Grandchamp, Manager – Verlingue Immobilier
“Verlingue Immobilier has 2,000 customers, 10,000 buildings insured for the management agent part, 100,000 plots under management for the property management part, 55 dedicated staff and 20,000 claims processed each year”

Eric Cala, Journalist – Radio Immo
“You’ve recently launched Immo@ccess. The PROPTECH show is one of the first events at which you’re presenting it. What’s the initial feedback like?”

Stéphane Grandchamp, Manager – Verlingue Immobilier
“Our platform is responsive which means we can easily present it on iPad, for online demonstrations. Being present at the show enables us to interact with start-ups, to embrace the developments of tomorrow and to include the new technologies from these PROPTECHs, which are gaining ground in the real estate sector and which we hope to be able to work with for future developments”.

Eric Cala, Journalist – Radio Immo
“How do you set about producing a product like Immo@ccess at Verlingue? Is it based on meetings with customers and feedback from them?”

Stéphane Grandchamp, Manager – Verlingue Immobilier
“That’s exactly it. It would be inconceivable for us to imagine delivering platforms intended to offer features for day-to-day use within our customers’ teams, without first checking that it meets their expectations. And to do so, we need to talk with our customers to ensure that the platform is going to be used on a daily basis and provide them with real simplification”.

Eric Cala, Journalist – Radio Immo
“So you’re in the process of deploying this platform commercially? What are your objectives?”

Stéphane Grandchamp, Manager – Verlingue Immobilier
“We have 2,000 customers, so we’re really talking about a colossal deployment. Fortunately, we are without a doubt one of the brokers with the best-staffed sales force devoted to real estate. We are looking to deploy the system to our customers before the end of the year, to be able to equip most of them”.
