Verlingue – an insurance broker specialising in business protection – announces the arrivals of Béatrice Berthel, who is joining Verlingue as Head of Professional Liability Insurance, and Sandrine Pons, the new Deputy Director of the Vehicle-Fleet branch.
These two appointments confirm Verlingue’s ambitious objectives for its Property & Casualty Department as regards its two flagship branches (vehicle-fleet and professional liability insurance) and will reinforce the teams already in place.
“The arrival of Sandrine Pons and Béatrice Berthel is in line with the objectives of our strategic plan and notably our strategy of growth in the Property & Casualty field, based on consolidating our expertise to better serve our customers.” says Frédéric Chaplain, Property and Casualty Director at Verlingue.
Béatrice Berthel is an acknowledged professional in the market. She has been working in the field of Professional Liability insurance for twenty years. She has extensive experience, having held responsibilities in various insurance companies (Allianz Courtage and Tokio Marine Europe) and brokerages.
Béatrice had been working at Marsh since 2011 where she successively held the positions of Deputy Technical Director Marsh Corporate (2011-2015) and Head of the Investment Team in the Professional Liability Insurance branch (from 2016).
Sandrine Pons has been specialising in vehicle-fleet insurance for twenty years. She has gained extensive experience by working on the customer side (Renault), the insurer side (Axa CS) and the brokerage side (Gras Savoye, Diot).
Sandrine Pons had worked as Deputy Director of the Vehicle-Fleet Department at Diot since 2018. The fact that her responsibilities covered both French and overseas markets also means she has a good understanding of international programmes.
The arrival of Sandrine Pons alongside Raphaël Kerdraon (Vehicle-Fleet and New Mobility Director) strengthens the Vehicle-Fleet team and will enable us to maintain the branch’s current rate of growth and develop our portfolio.
