The Verlingue broking firm buys out Advantis in Switzerland

The commercial risks insurance broker Verlingue, based in Quimper (north west France), has just taken over its Swiss colleague Advantis, based in Zurich. Advantis deals with 600 Swiss companies of different sizes and employs 40 people.

Verlingue has already been trading in the United Kingdom for several years and this acquisition enables it to continue its European expansion.

The company employs 700 people across 13 regional offices and is controlled by the family of Jacques Verlingue, its manager. It reports having 2,000 business customers.

Verlingue’s broking activity is supplemented, in particular, by the company Génération, which specialises in healthcare and employee benefits.
