“If everything is changing, tomorrow’s entrepreneur has got to be the one who takes risks.”

On the occasion of the 25th edition of the Entrepreneur Of The Year awards organised by EY, the programme partners Verlingue, HSBC, Steelcase, BPI France, L’Express, Les Echos and Widoobiz, express their ideas on the profile of entrepreneurs of the future.

Jacques Verlingue, “I imagine the entrepreneurs of tomorrow as being even more diverse in a more open world. Socio-diversity will be greater under the combined effects of migration, feminisation and people living longer. Technological advances are going to upset economic models. So, if everything is changing, tomorrow’s entrepreneur has got to be the one who takes risks.”

For 25 years, it is the over 2,500 entrepreneurs who stand out by their talent and their audacity who have transformed this award into a major event in the French entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The national award winners of this 25th edition will be unveiled on Tuesday 17 October at the Salle Pleyel in Paris, in the course of an evening which will celebrate the most successful companies in France, as well as the award winners distinguished by the national jury.
